Commercial Barrister Delivers Minority Shareholders Seminars
Trinity specialist business and company law barrister, Richard Stubbs will be delivering series of seminars covering "Minority Shareholders - A Guide to Rights & Remedies" on behalf of MBL training providers.
The seminars will take place at a range of venues including Newcastle, Leeds, Birmingham and Manchester. This course aims to provides a guide to the principal rights of minority shareholders and the means by which they can obtain redress before the Courts.The general rights of minority shareholders will be explored both in terms of their common law and statutory rights. The main focus of the course will be unfair prejudice petitions and the right to bring a derivative action on behalf of the company, including recent cases covering these areas.The course is aimed at corporate solicitors and commercial litigators and will attract Solicitors Regulation Authority continuing competence. The course will cover the following:

- Differing approaches depending on the nature of the company - quasi partnerships, family companies, listed companies
