Prior to jointing chambers Elizabeth worked as an immigration counsellor at David Gray Solicitors where she presented immigration and asylum appeals before the Tribunal. She has continued her work in the Tribunal whilst developing her practice in the High Court and Court of Appeal. She has gained the LSC accreditation in Immigration and Asylum work. Elizabeth also deals with private Immigration matters including cases involving work permits, deportation, the UK Borders Agency and in particular the Points Based System including advising businesses on this complex and developing area.

Administrative and Public Law

Elizabeth has dealt with Immigration and Human Rights related Judicial Review proceedings.

Children Act proceedings

Elizabeth deals with all areas of family law including public and private law proceedings and cases including mental health issues. Given her asylum and immigration background Elizabeth also deals with children cases where there is an immigration element.
