Jane is a Grade 3 CPS prosecutor although the majority of her practice is defence based.

Jane has been led as junior counsel in four high profile murder cases including a conspiracy to murder and a re-trial.

Jane qualified as a solicitor in 2001 working for a busy firm of solicitors in South Tyneside. She transferred to the bar in 2003. She has only ever practised in crime.
