Alison Dickason

Senior Clerk

Alison has vast experience in the field of clerking and the law generally. The previous 9 years have been spent as the Senior Family Clerk in York Chambers and the 20 years prior to that working in the Lord Chancellors Department as it was then. The first 10 years were spent at South Shields County Court and then Willesden County Court in London after which a move to the Official Solicitors office took place where she worked as a Senior childrens Caseworker and latterly headed up the Child Abduction Unit before heading back North.

In her spare time Alison plays trumpet and is a keen member of Bede Wind who rehearse weekly at the Sage, Gateshead. The band perform concerts locally throughout the year. Alison also enjoys running and competes in the Great North Run most years.
