Claire offers high quality client care to professional and lay clients, recognising the often very difficult and stressful circumstances for all those involved.
Claire represents, local authorities, family members, Guardians and competent children in the most complex of cases including proceedings involving, sexual abuse, including allegations of inter - sibling sexual abuse, child sexual exploitation, induction of young people into ‘county lines’ criminal activity, radicalisation, Fabricated and Induced Illness and non- accidental injury, including shaking injuries.
She is regularly instructed in led cases, requiring the instruction of King’s Counsel, which involve significant and complex issues.

- 2024 - Before Circuit Judge instructed on behalf of the Local Authority, serious allegations of skull fracture and SDH to three week old baby.
- 2024 - Before Circuit Judge acting for Mother, vulnerable adult facing serious allegations of NAI (shaking injury).
- 2023 - Before Deputy High Court Judge, instructed on behalf of the Local Authority in a case involving alleged county lines activity involving vulnerable teenagers.
- 2023 - Acting for Local Authority, against leading and junior counsel for respondent alleged perpetrators of NAI (skull fracture to infant).
- 2023 - Before Deputy High Court Judge, led by King's Counsel on behalf of the children,
proceedings involving allegations of Fabricated and Induced Illness in an infant, including a novel issue regarding previous adverse findings against a medical professional.
- 2023 - Before Deputy High Court Judge led by King’s Counsel acting on behalf of the children in proceedings involving inter-sibling allegations of sexual abuse.
- 2023 - Before High Court Judge, acting on behalf of the Local Authority led by King's Counsel in a case concerning the risk of radicalisation of the children by F convicted of terrorism offences.
- 2022 - Led by King's Counsel for Local Authority, in a case involving allegations of murder of an adult by respondent parents and the question of risk of harm posed to the child
