Henry's practice focuses on personal injury, housing and family. Henry appears regularly in the County Court on behalf of a range of clients including local authorities and private individuals. Henry frequently appears in interim hearings, applications and trials. Henry adopts a proactive approach to work and is happy to provide both formal and informal advice.
Henry acts for both Claimants and Defendants and is experienced in Fast-Track trials, Stage 3 hearings, Approval hearings in addition to drafting pleadings and providing advice. Henry accepts instructions across broad areas of personal injury work, including cases involving road traffic accidents, employer’s liability, occupier’s liability, industrial disease and animal related cases. In the field of Credit Hire, Henry acts for both Claimants and Defendants and has experience of the arguments about need, enforceability, impecuniosity, period, rate and intervention.
Henry has developed a housing law practice and is instructed in a variety of possession proceedings under the Housing Act, housing disrepair claims, Injunction applications under Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 and has acted in committal applications for breach of anti-social behaviour injunctions.
Henry has a busy family practice and accepts instructions in both public and private law children’s proceedings. Henry has acted for local authorities, family members and Guardian at in multi-day final composite and fact-finding hearings in public law proceedings. Henry also acts in private law matters involving residence, contact, non-molestation orders and occupation orders and has a growing practice in financial remedy proceedings.
