Holly joined Trinity Chambers in 2025 as a specialist Civil practitioner and has developed a busy and broad-ranging practice.

Business & Property

Holly regularly appears in the County Court, High Court and First-Tier Tribunal in the following areas:

  • Injunctions
  • Consumer Credit Act claims

Holly also has experience drafting and advising in a wide-range of cases and is able to turn papers around efficiently.

Housing

Holly accepts instructions in all aspects of housing law, on behalf of private landlords, social landlords and tenants. She has a particular interest in the following:

  • Housing Disrepair
  • Possession
  • Anti-Social Behaviour Injunctions
  • Homelessness

Holly deals with all aspects of housing disrepair claims, primarily acting on behalf of private and social landlords. Holly has developed a busy paper practice in this area, regularly drafting Defences and opinions in such matters. Holly undertakes trials on both the Small Claims Track and the Fast Track, regularly succeeding in securing allocation to the Small Claims Track at allocation stage and has also been successful in resisting applications for costs on behalf of Defendant’s, pursuant to Birmingham City Council -v- Lee.

Holly also regularly acts in claims for possession and has experience in undertaking claims which include Equality Act, public law and Human Rights Act defences.

Personal Injury & Clinical Negligence

Holly is regularly instructed on a range of personal injury cases both on the fast track and the multi-track, including road traffic accidents, occupier’s liability and accidents at work. Holly also has experience in the Coroner’s Court and has represented families and interested parties.

  • John Crofts -v- Valerie Jean Welsh [2026] UKUT 35 (LC) Acting for the Respondent where the Upper Tier Tribunal, Lands Chamber was concerned with an appeal from Mr Crofts arguing that Ms Welsh had permission from a third party to occupy the disputed land and in turn, that meant that possession was not adverse to the owner.
