Oluwapelumi Amanda Adeola

Oluwapelumi (Amanda) is an award winning lawyer who brings a wealth of experience to the Bar, following a distinguished career as a solicitor and solicitor-advocate. With over 15 years of dedicated practice in Family Law, she focuses on private family matters, particularly relationship breakdowns and financial remedy proceedings.
Recently called to the Bar, Oluwapelumi’s legal journey began in 2009 when she was admitted as a solicitor. By 2014, she had qualified as a solicitor-advocate, enabling her to conduct advocacy in higher courts. Her extensive practice has been rooted in tackling complex family law issues, where she has conducted the majority of her own advocacy in the lower courts. Her leadership skills were evident during her tenure as a Partner at a local firm, a position she held for five years.
As a committed member of Resolution, Oluwapelumi holds specialist accreditations in advocacy for private law children and financial remedy proceedings. This, coupled with her firsthand understanding of the practical challenges solicitors face daily, makes her uniquely equipped to navigate the nuanced demands of family law.
Oluwapelumi is deeply passionate about promoting access to justice and championing the accessibility of the legal profession. She actively contributes to the legal community as a member of several influential committees, including sitting on the National Committee of Resolution, Resolution’s EDI and Law Reform committees and the Centre for Child and Family Law Reform. She also dedicates her time to mentoring aspiring lawyers, nurturing the next generation of legal professionals. She was ranked in the Legal 500 Directory for 4 consecutive years as a next generation Partner.
