All aspects of planning are dealt with, ranging from major public inquiries and recovered jurisdiction appeals, to drafting Section 106 legal agreements.
Trinity's planning barristers act for a wide range of sectors including property developers, public authorities, house builders and individuals. The team has experience of both prosecuting and defending planning contraventions in the Magistrates and Crown Courts as well as appearing in the Administrative Court on Judicial Review matters.
In addition, Trinity’s barristers have experience of providing representation and advice on environmental law issues including waste management, installations, regulatory challenges and renewable energy such as wind farms and biomass plants.
The Trinity planning barristers regularly provide training events including seminars and workshops to solicitors and legal departments attracting Solicitors Regulation Authority CPD accreditation.
As well as being instructed by solicitors, the planning barristers can also accept Instructions direct from Chartered Town Planners, Architects and Surveyors under the Bar Council's Licensed Access Scheme.
