Chambers’ members and staff warmly welcome Aaron Tate to Trinity’s Civil team.
Called in 2019, Aaron has developed a busy civil practice with particular experience in Housing, Personal Injury and Credit Hire. Based in Nottingham, he regularly appears in Courts across the Midlands and accepts instructions throughout England and Wales.
Aaron has substantial experience in Housing matters, including disrepair and residential possession proceedings. He has acted extensively in housing disrepair claims, appearing in trials, allocation hearings, interim applications and enforcement proceedings. His possession practice includes claims brought under sections 8 and 21 of the Housing Act 1988, together with mortgage possession proceedings.
In Personal Injury, Aaron acts for both Claimants and Defendants, with significant experience in road traffic accident claims. He also regularly deals with allegations of fundamental dishonesty, Stage 3 hearings and infant approval hearings.
Aaron also has extensive experience in Credit Hire litigation. He has appeared in numerous trials dealing with issues including need, rate and period of hire, impecuniosity, enforceability of credit hire agreements and storage and recovery charges. His experience extends to appellate proceedings in the County Court.
Before commencing pupillage, Aaron worked as an Advocacy Manager and subsequently as a self-employed County Court Advocate. Across his career, he has appeared in more than 1,000 hearings, giving him extensive courtroom experience across a wide range of civil matters.
