Following completion of her pupillage in October, barrister Laura Nagel joins Trinity Chambers as a full tenant.
Laura, who practises from Trinity's Chambers in Newcastle and Middlesbrough, joins Trinity's Family group dealing with all aspects of children work, including private and public law cases acting for Local Authorities, parents and other family members in interim and final care proceedings as well as disclosure applications. Laura is also a member of Trinity Chambers' Personal Injury group dealing with claimant and defendant small claim and fast track cases. She regularly deals with credit hire, infant approval and stage 3 hearings. Laura is also a member of the Business group and receives instructions in relation to contractual disputes and insolvency matters.
As a Pupil, Laura won the Louise Godfrey QC Memorial Moot held on 12 September 2013 in Leeds. Laura gained her place in the moot following selection as one of the top four advocates after two days of advocacy training on the North-Eastern Circuit Pupil Advocacy Course. Laura joining Trinity takes the total number of barristers to 77.
