Newcastle City Juniors 9 a side football team, sponsored by Trinity Barristers’ Chambers, has completed the “Quadruple” for the 2012/2013 season by winning the Pin Point League Cup Final held at the Newcastle United Football Academy on 24th May 2013.
The under 11’s Milan team have had a rewarding season also winning the Pin Point Recruitment Junior Football League Premiership 2012/2013; the Pin Point League Challenge Trophy Shield 2012/2013 and the Newcastle Central Youth Division Cup 2012/2013.
To celebrate their successful season, the team recently enjoyed a trip to Salou over the half term break, the highlight of which was a trip to Barcelona F.C.’s “Camp Nou”. They also played friendly games against several local Spanish teams including C.D. Almeda.
Trinity Chambers will continue to support Newcastle City Juniors in the 2013/2014 season. The team is coached by Civil and Family Clerk Steven Preen.
