Trinity Housing, Business and Property barrister, Vilma Vodanovic will be delivering two 'mirror' hybrid seminars in Newcastle and Leeds respectively, entitled:
'Civil Penalties: Local Authority Enforcement against Private Landlords'.
The free to attend sessions will include an overview of the guidance coming from the appellate Courts on how these penalties are to be calculated, and will also cover what the Renters' Rights Bill has in store for the future on this very point.
For those with very little or no experience of this topic, Vilma's talk will be an introduction to the world of financial penalties. For the more well-versed in this field, it is an opportunity to refresh their knowledge and consider the breadth of proposals for the future under the new Bill.
Each session can be attended in person or online via Teams. Registration for both events is at 12.45pm for a 1pm start, concluding by 2.30pm.
The dates and venues for the seminars are:
- Newcastle - Wednesday 7th May at Trinity Chambers, The Custom House, Quayside, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 3DE
- Leeds - Thursday 8th May at Trinity Chambers, Eyton House, 12 Park Place, Leeds, LS1 2RU
Attended places are limited with additional places available via Teams, so early booking is advised.
