Following Trinity's fully booked Commercial Litigation Conference held on Thursday 11 July 2019, Chambers raised £425 in support of local charity, Stroke North East.

Chaired by Chambers Director Tim Harris and Business & Property practice group head, Simon Goldberg, Trinity hosted the full day event at The Vermont Hotel, Newcastle with talks from guest speakers - the Vice Chancellor, Mr Justice Barling, His Honour Judge Davis-White Q.C. and District Judge Temple. Trinity barristers John Campbell Q.C., Simon Goldberg and Richard Stubbs also each delivered talks. Feedback comments from the conference included:

"The conference was a triumph. The speakers were excellent, and the format was great. I would certainly attend a similar event in future without hesitation."

"Superb presentations by all."

"It was an excellent day, you excelled yourselves.  Relevant topics, engaging speakers, friendly faces and a convenient lovely location."

"The course/conference was excellent"

"Thanks very much for the conference. The effort you put in was evident from the quality and range of speakers."

All proceeds from the event have been donated to Stroke North East, a local charity helping survivors of stroke with their rehabilitation through organised group days out. The charity aims to have a positive impact on survivors and their families across the North East who have completed the treatment and care provided by the NHS but are left with their abilities severely damaged and unable to return to the life they once lived.

Keep an eye out on Trinity's Training & Events page for details regarding future seminars and conferences. To make a donation please visit Stroke North East's Virgin Money Giving page.
