In these extraordinary times all of us in the legal industry from law firms to barristers' chambers and inhouse legal teams are doing all we can to maintain business continuity in an increasingly challenging and constantly evolving situation for the benefit of clients and stakeholders.

It is clearly very far from "business as usual" at present and the pressures that the developing situation will continue to generate cannot be underestimated. However, as we progress through the crisis members of Chambers and staff are committed to ensuring that not only do we provide as much as a normal level service as possible, but that we also aim to provide the extraordinary service that the times require.

Chambers' staff are happy to discuss how we might modify the usual client/barrister relationship to assist you, your teams and your clients to navigate these difficult times. In this respect, we are keen to innovate and fully explore the opportunities that technology can provide. We are open to any ideas or suggestions that will in any way ease the challenges that lay ahead, for example using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, webinars, PowWowNow etc.

We remain committed to do what we can to reduce the spread of Coronavirus. Trinity is adopting the measures suggested by the UK public health and NHS authorities. We are also monitoring guidance from the Bar Council, HMCTS and North Eastern Circuit.

We have taken steps to enable the clerking and fees teams to securely work remotely with access to email and phone calls.

For updates please visit our website and follow our social media. If you have any immediate queries please do not hesitate to get in touch with the clerking team or myself using the contact details on the Trinity website.

Trinity Chambers' Director, Tim Harris MBE.
