Warm congratulations to two members of Trinity Chambers' Criminal team, Shada Mellor and Mairi Clancy, on their successful applications to the Crown Prosecution Service Advocates Panel.
Shada Mellor has been appointed to Grade 3, and Mairi Clancy moves from Grade 1 to Grade 2.
CPS Advocate Panel members represent the Crown Prosecution Service in criminal proceedings including in the Crown Courts and Higher Courts.
The rigorous Panel application and upgrade process appoints advocates who have met strict selection criteria, demonstrating relevant, up to date prosecution advocacy skills and experience. Applications to join the Advocate Panel at levels 2, 3 or 4, or upgrade a level are made during the annual CPS application window each September.
