Trinity Criminal barrister, and Deputy Head of Chambers, Christopher Knox, was part of the team that successfully prosecuted three men accused of grooming and child sex offences. Following the six week trial at Teesside Crown Court Defendant Ateeq Latif was found guilty of two counts of arranging or facilitating commission of a child sex offence, his victims were both aged 14. A second Defendant, Shakil Munir was found guilty of four counts of sexual activity with a child and one of child abduction. Prior to the trial a third Defendant, Sakib Ahmed admitted five counts of sexual activity with a child.
