Trinity barrister, Michelle Temple has been appointed by The Queen to be a District Judge. The appointment has been made on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Chris Grayling MP. The Right Honourable The Lord Thomas of Cwmgiedd, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has deployed Michelle Temple to the North Eastern Circuit, based at Teesside Combined Court Centre with effect from 8 April 2014.
Michelle, who will be known as District Judge Temple, was called to the Bar in 1992 and was appointed as a Deputy District Judge in 2010. Michelle was the Head of Trinity's Chancery group as well as a member of Chambers' Agriculture, Business, Mental Health and Court of Protection practice groups.
