The Queen has appointed Trinity Family and Matrimonial Finance barrister, James Richardson to be a District Judge.
The appointment was made on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Robert Buckland QC MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.
The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to a full time position on the North Eastern Circuit. District Judge Richardson will based at Durham County Court with sittings at Darlington County Court and Teesside County Court commencing in October 2020.
