Members of Trinity Chambers were delighted to host a visit to the Custom House by students from Durham University Bar Society.
Several Trinity barristers, including some Durham Alumni, are mentors to members of the Society and arranged for students to have a tour of Chambers as well as meet members, including Simon Goldberg K.C., head of Trinity's Business and Property team. The informal session was an opportunity for aspiring barristers to ask practitioners across a range of years' call about the realities of life at the Bar as well as the practicalities around applying for pupillage and mini-pupillage.
Many thanks to all of the students who attended, as well as Mentoring Officer Nicole Mugari and the Society President Georgia Cooper, for helping to arrange the visit.
Commenting on the session, Nicole said:
"Thank you so much for your support in organising the networking evening and for hosting us...Students have given us positive feedback on how insightful the event was for learning more about life at the Bar and Trinity Chambers. We really enjoyed it and appreciated all of the time and words of advice from the Trinity Barristers."
