Trinity Chambers' Employment barrister, Jamie Anderson,  delivered a seminar to members of the Government Legal Service Northern Lawyers Network on 14th June 2012. 

Jamie delivered a session on whistleblowing, highlighting the distinction between these and other employment cases. There was a run through of up to date case law and discussion surrounding the proposed legislative changes for the future.

The GLS Northern Lawyers Network meets regularly and its membership includes lawyers from the Health and Safety Executive, Department of Work and Pensions, Crown Prosecution Service and Department for Business Innovation and Skills. 

Jamie practises exclusively in employment law and is a member of Trinity Chambers' Employment Practice Group. Together with other barristers in the Employment group, Jamie regularly delivers seminars and workshops and is due shortly to speak at Trinity’s mirror Employment Law seminars to be held in Middlesbrough on Tuesday 26th June and Newcastle on Thursday 28th June.  

The comprehensive seminars are aimed at Employment law practitioners and will provide a practical and useful Employment law update as well as exploring the implications of technology and social media in the workplace and associated computer forensic issues. The seminar will include a contribution from an outside IT expert, John Corcoran, from Keith Borer Consultants.
