Trinity employment barrister Richard Stubbs was instructed on behalf of over 100 female trade union backed Claimants in their equal pay claims against Knowsley Council.

The genuine material factor(GMF) defence hearing commenced on 4th February 2013. On 26th February 2013, after the evidence of several witnesses had been heard, the Respondent conceded and withdrew the GMF defences. The Claimants now have only to demonstrate equal value with their comparators in order to receive substantial sums of back pay owed to them.
