Trinity Criminal and Regulatory barrister, Shada Mellor recently secured convictions in a multi-handed EncroChat prosecution.
The three defendants were charged with a multi-kilogram conspiracy to supply cocaine as part of the ongoing Operation Venetic led by the National Crime Agency (NCA) to tackle the encrypted communication platform.
Following a nine-day trial at Newcastle Crown Court, all three defendants, one represented by King Counsel, were convicted.
