Family barrister and Deputy District Judge, Brian Mather has been invited by the Tees Valley Law Society to deliver a seminar entitled "Managing Litigants in Person" to take place on Monday 17th June 2013.

With wide ranging cuts in public funding across a variety of practice areas the number of Litigants in Person will inevitably increase. As a Deputy District Judge who sits regularly in the region’s courts and a practising family barrister from Trinity Chambers, Brian Mather will explore the practical implications and challenges of dealing with Litigants in Person and McKenzie Friends.

The Lecture will take place at Archers Law LLP, Lakeside House, Kingfisher Way, Stockton-on-Tees. The event starts at 4.30pm with tea/coffee available from 4.15pm. This course will attract 2 CPD points. For further details and booking information visit the Tees Valley Law Society website.

Brian Mather is a member of Trinity Chambers' Family and Mental Health/Court of Protection practice groups.
