Following several new barristers joining Trinity and consistent increase in instructions, Chambers has recruited Family Clerk Roseanna Smith.

Roseanna joins Trinity's Family team following two years clerking in HM Court Service where she developed a strong rapport with the Judiciary and stakeholders and gained a comprehensive knowledge of Family court procedures.

Roseanna will work alongside Lead Family Clerk Steve Preen, Ken McLafferty and Paula Clark from Trinity's Chambers on Newcastle's Quayside and the recently opened premises at 24 Ridley Place in the City Centre. Ridley Place was opened in January 2020 in direct response to the Newcastle Civil & Family Courts & Tribunal Centre's move to the Civic Centre and is now successfully supporting clients and members of Chambers dealing with hearings at the new courts.

Also reflective of a period of growth and with Leeds increasingly being regarded as one of the largest legal hubs outside London, Trinity has recently opened Chambers in Park Square, enabling Trinity's barristers to more effectively support clients based in Yorkshire and beyond. Roseanna will deal with Family team enquiries coming through the new Leeds Chambers.
