The team of Trinity barristers who took part in the Mad March Mare at Hexham Racecourse on 4th March 2017 have overtaken their target of raising £500 for Stroke North East.
Stroke North East is a small local charity helping people who have suffered a stroke to get out and about on trips and visits, helping their rehabilitation and confidence.
At what was the third Mad March Mare event, the "Trinity Troopers" completed a ten kilometre assault course through mud and over thirty natural and man made obstacles, one of which, "the Tunnels", was sponsored by Chambers. The Mad March Mare event supports the St. Oswald's Hospice and Tynedale Hospice at Home charities.
The Trinity Barristers are already booking their places on next year's event. It is still not too late for any donations to the team's Virgin Money Giving account.
