Tim Spain, Family and Ancillary Relief barrister at Trinity Chambers will be delivering a seminar to the members of the Harrogate and District Law Society on the evening of Tuesday 27th November 2012. The event will include a review of the year’s cases and developments in relation to ancillary relief proceedings. The seminar will be delivered at the offices of Raworth’s Solicitors, Eaton House, Station Parade, Harrogate commencing at 4:00 p.m.
Tim Spain will cover recent cases involving Consent Orders and failure to act; pre-marital property; modest assets; non-disclosure; third-party interest; pre-marital agreements post – Radmacher ; severance of joint tenancies; bankruptcy and Civil Partnership dissolution.
As well as being a member of Chambers’ Family and Ancillary Relief practice group, Tim heads up Trinity’s Mental Health and Court of Protection practice group. He is a recognised expert in high value ancillary relief cases particularly those involving companies, partnerships, farms, hidden wealth and insolvency. He also deals with Local Authority public law child care cases. He is also regularly instructed in Court of Protection matters in relation to vulnerable adults and safeguarding issues.
