Chambers' members and staff warmly welcome Ian Windridge to Trinity's Criminal and Regulatory teams.
Ian was first admitted as a solicitor in 1998 before joining the Crown Prosecution Service in 2003 as a Senior Crown Prosecutor. In October 2008 he obtained Higher Rights(Criminal) and became a Solicitor Advocate/Crown Advocate. He returned to private practice in 2011 and ultimately transferred to the Bar in 2015.
Ian has prosecuted and defended in a wide range of cases, including sexual and violent offending, drug supply and importation, non-fatal serious driving offences, and firearms cases. Most recently, his specialism has been towards the prosecution of rape and serious sexual offending and “County Lines” drug supply, including issues of modern slavery such as the use of teenage workers.
Ian is a Grade 3 Prosecutor and CPS Rape and Serious Sexual Offences (RaSSO) Panel member.
