Barrister and Head of Trinity Chambers' Licensing Team, Charles Holland has had an article published in the November 2017 edition (Number 19) of The Journal of the Institute of Licensing.
Charles' article: "Interim suspensions of taxi driver licences-still lawful?", examines the leading taxi licensing case of Singh v Cardiff. In the article, Charles argues that its finding that Section 61 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 does not give local authorities an interim power of suspension, should have no implications beyond the specific situation of that particular case.
Charles is a Member of the Institute of Licensing and is regularly recognised in the leading legal directories for his Licensing expertise: "An extremely effective advocate.
