Josh Normanton Joins Trinity's Criminal & Regulatory Teams

Trinity's members and staff warmly welcome barrister Josh Normanton who joins Chambers' Criminal & Regulatory teams having previously practised exclusively in London.

Called in 2012, Josh is a specialist advocate in high-profile, sensitive and complex cases. His nationwide practice spans the complementary areas of criminal, regulatory, disciplinary and financial services law. Josh is a Level 3 panel CPS prosecutor.

Josh is a member of the Criminal Bar Association, Fraud Lawyers Association and Financial Services Lawyers Association. He is a Contributing Editor to Archbold Criminal Pleading, Evidence and Practice and was a core member of the Rook Group Advocacy and the Vulnerable Committee which developed the national advocacy programme on cross-examining vulnerable witnesses.

In his busy advisory practice, Josh advises corporates on criminal and regulatory issues arising in commercial transactions or relationships. In addition he regularly advises businesses and entrepreneurs on licensing and regulatory law in the novel food and legal cannabis markets.

Commenting on the move to Trinity Chambers, Josh said:
