On the evening of Monday 22 April 2024 the Junior Property Litigation Association (JPLA) North will be delivering a joint hybrid event with the Newcastle Business and Property Court Forum entitled:
'Keeping It Real : A Real Property Question Time'.
The session brings together a panel of leading property litigators to answer common questions on property litigation in practice.
The free to attend event will be chaired by District Judge Hambler with a panel comprising of Trinity Chambers' Head of Business & Property, Simon Goldberg K.C., Stephen Fletcher of Dere Street Chambers and Stephanie Jarron of Enterprise Chambers.
The specialist industry panel will be available to answer pre-submitted questions relating to case law, procedure, tactics and alternative dispute resolution, as well as discussing their own personal experiences as property litigators.
For those attending in person, the event will take place at Northumbria University, City Campus East, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 8ST, with registration from 5pm for a 5.30pm start. The panel discussion is scheduled for an hour and due to finish at 6.30pm. The discussion will be followed by drinks and an opportunity to network with judges, the panel members, PLA members and other legal professionals.
The Junior Property Litigation Association (JPLA) was created to help its members of up to 10 years' PQE specialising in all aspects of commercial, residential and agricultural property litigation to develop their technical expertise as well as their network of property professionals.
Made up of judges, solicitors and barristers, the Newcastle Business and Property Court Forum is a group of North East law professionals focussed on promoting the work of the Business and Property Court in Newcastle through networking and training events, as well as sharing industry resources such as case reports, articles and practice updates.
