Trinity Criminal and Regulatory barrister, Laura Jane Miller secured the acquittal of a defendant charged with two offences of rape, along with offences of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and intentional strangulation.
The defendant was found not guilty of all offences following a four day trial before Newcastle Crown Court.
Laura, who specialises in defending cases involving serious sexual offences and allegations of serious violence, was instructed by Chris Wilson of McKenzie Bell Solicitors.
