One of Trinity's four first six pupil barristers, Matthew Hopkins, has been awarded a prize following his outstanding results of the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC).

In recognition of being the best Middle Temple BPTC student, Matthew has been awarded a Baron Dr Ver Heyden de Lancey Prize. In addition Matthew has been awarded a Certificate of Honour for achieving an "Outstanding" on his BPTC.

Middle Temple's BPTC Results Prizes are made at the discretion of Middle Temple's Scholarships and Prizes Committee.

Matthew, who joined Trinity as a pupil barrister in October, is currently working with Trinity's Criminal team under the supervision of barristerĀ David Comb.
