Specialist business and company law barrister, Richard Stubbs will continue to deliver a series of seminars covering "Minority Shareholders - A Guide to Rights & Remedies" on behalf of MBL training providers into 2018.
The seminars will take place at the following venues: Birmingham (12th February), Leeds (5th March), Newcastle (1st June) and Manchester (22nd June).
The course provides a guide to the principal rights of minority shareholders and the means by which they can obtain redress before the Courts. The general rights of minority shareholders are explored both in terms of their common law and statutory rights. The main focus of the course is unfair prejudice petitions and the right to bring a derivative action on behalf of the company, including recent case law. The course is aimed at corporate solicitors and commercial litigators and will attract Solicitors Regulation Authority continuing competence. The course covers:
