On the evening of Monday 28th March 2022 the latest meeting of the Newcastle Business and Property Court Forum will take place as a hybrid event.
The session, hosted by Specialist Business & Property Court Circuit Judge, His Honour Judge Kramer, is entitled 'Trials and tribunalisations: courting confusion?' and will explore the different and overlapping jurisdictions of the Lands Chamber and the Courts, and their development.
The first speaker will be Mr Justice Fancourt, the Vice-Chancellor of the County Palatine of Lancaster, who is also the Supervising Judge of the Business and Property Courts for the Northern and North Eastern Circuits.
Mr Andrew Entwistle, Chartered Surveyor, of George F White LLP will then provide a practical outlook on the challenges of dealing with overlapping jurisdictions in property matters.
