The next Newcastle Upon Tyne Business and Property Courts Forum will convene on the evening of Monday 28th June 2021 with a focus on Limitation. As always, Trinity Chambers is closely involved.
The session, entitled "Limitation - Beat the Clock! A very useful reminder that time does not come back", will be Chaired by BPC District Judge David Hambler.
Newcastle’s Specialist BPC Judge HHJ Philip Kramer will speak about "Latent damages and joinder of parties”. He will be joined by Trinity Chambers’ Head of Business & Property team and Recorder, Simon Goldberg who will cover “Concealments after Canada Square”.
Perennially problematic, Limitation has never been of greater concern to lawyers and construction professionals, particularly as the rush to strip buildings of dangerous cladding raises questions of long-incurred liabilities and exposes to view long-hidden defects.
The meeting will be online by Zoom but is hosted from Trinity Chambers’ conferencing facilities.
The free to attend online meeting is scheduled to start at 5.15pm, concluding by 6.30pm.
