On the evening of Monday 4th October 2021 the Newcastle Business & Property Forum will be holding its first in person hybrid meeting since the pandemic.
Newcastle's Specialist Business & Property Court Judge, His Honour Judge Kramer will host Mrs Justice O'Farrell DBE, the Judge in Charge of the Technology and Construction Court as she discusses current TCC matters. The event will take place at Northumbria University Law School.
Mrs Justice O’Farrell was called to the Bar in 1983 taking Silk in 2002. She was appointed as a Recorder in 2007 and made a Justice of the High Court (Queen’s Bench Division) in 2016, assigned to the Technology and Construction Courts, part of the Business and Property Courts.
Before her judicial appointment, Mrs Justice O’Farrell DBE had over 30 years experience as a leading barrister in construction, engineering, energy, shipbuilding and information technology cases. She acted regularly as counsel or arbitrator in international arbitrations and is an accredited adjudicator and mediator.
Together with other members of the North Eastern Circuit legal community, barristers from Trinity continue to closely support the Newcastle Business & Property Courts Forum. Trinity is delighted to provide refreshments at this event.
The Forum meeting starts at 5.15pm, concluding by 6.30pm. For those not wishing to attend in person, the event will also be live streamed. Attended ticket numbers are limited.
