Trinity Chambers is delighted to be sponsoring both the Newcastle and Teesside 2021 Legal Walks.
The Newcastle Walk takes place on the evening of Tuesday 5th October 2021, starting at 5.30pm at the Newcastle Upon Tyne Combined Court Centre, Quayside.
The first ever Teesside Legal Walk takes place the following evening on Wednesday 6th October 2021, starting at 5:30pm at Middlesbrough Centre Square.
The Walks are part of a series of fundraising events organised by the North East Legal Support Trust (NELST), the local arm of The Access to Justice Foundation; a grant-making charity, which raises and distributes funds to support free legal advice services and access to justice for all. The local charities supported by the NELST help to facilitate access to justice for the poorest, most vulnerable and most disadvantaged members of society. They provide free legal help to people facing problems such as homelessness, debt, employment, family issues, mental health problems, discrimination and injustice. NELST urgently need funds to support their work.
As well as fundraising, the Legal Walks, which take place across the country throughout the year, are an opportunity for colleagues in the region's legal community to meet and network, something that is more than welcome following the previous pandemic restrictions.
