Specialist Trinity clinical and dental negligence barrister, Mike Hill will be a guest speaker at a North East Dental Seminar delivered jointly with Sintons Solicitors’ Health Care Team and Chartered Financial Planners, Rutherford Wilkinson.The event, aimed at practising dentists, will cover key areas currently affecting dentists including how they can plan ahead to best manage risks to their practice and personal finances.
Mike Hill, who was a qualified dental surgeon and who practised dentistry for 15 years before coming to the Bar, has a unique perspective and insight into the management of dental negligence claims. Joining Mike is Mark Quigley, Partner at Sintons specialising in regulatory issues and who regularly assists dentists with relevant registration compliance. Mark will discuss regulatory compliance and how to deal with breach notices. From Rutherford Wilkinson, Ray Prince is a certified financial planner and specialises in advising dentists. His session will focus on the changes to the NHS pension scheme coming into force in 2015 and how they will impact dentists in addition to the pension changes announced in the latest budget.

Mike Hill is a member of Trinity’s Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence practice group and was recently recognised in the latest Legal 500 2013 as "developing a niche in dental negligence".
