Congratulations to Trinity barristers, Parissa Najah and Abigail Cheetham who have been appointed to the Equality and Human Rights Commission's (EHRC) preferred panel of counsel for England and Wales.

Parissa and Abigail's successful applications follow a rigorous open competition process. Their appointment to the panel is for a four-year term running from 2024 to 2028.

The EHRC is Britain’s independent equality and human rights regulator and as enforcers of the Equality Act 2010, their objective is to make the country a fairer place by enforcing and upholding the laws that safeguard everyone’s right to fairness, dignity and respect.

Parissa and Abigail join a group of preferred suppliers of legal services delivering work for EHRC under a framework agreement. Suppliers on the panel will provide EHRC with advice and representation supporting its legal and enforcement work in British and European courts.
