Experienced barrister, Paul Caulfield has joined Trinity Chambers' Criminal and Family teams.

Paul qualified as a solicitor in 1981 before transferring to the Bar in 1996. Up until 2010 Paul was a barrister at Trinity before returning to working in a solicitors law firm, where he was the first barrister in the country to join a Multi-Disciplinary Practice.

In crime, Paul is instructed by both the defence and prosecution in a wide range of cases including murder, manslaughter, conspiracies, sexual and drug offences. He also deals with motor offences, Coroners Inquests as well as regulatory prosecutions such as trading standards and environmental protection matters.

Using his extensive Crown Court advocacy experience and having worked in a busy solicitors' office, Paul also deals with public and private law children cases including contact and residence issues.
