Planning barrister at Trinity Chambers, Nicola Allan last night delivered a seminar to the Association of Women in Property. At the event which took place at the offices of Ward Hadaway on Newcastle's Quayside Nicola included a review of Government policy in this field. She also explored the various incentive initiatives underway as well as implications nationally and regionally for the renewable energy sector and in turn its supply chain.

Nicola, who is a Chartered Town Planner, has dealt with a significant number of planning issues surrounding renewable energy including wind, solar and biomass. Nicola has advised and appears on behalf of a wide range of Local Authorities, developers and private clients on various projects including renewable energy, house building, mixed use regeneration, conservation and listed buildings. She also advises all parties in criminal cases arising from planning breaches in addition to dealing with planning related Judicial Review proceedings.
