On Monday 12 February 2024, Trinity Chambers’ Professional Disciplinary and Misconduct barrister, Steven Reed delivered training to Durham Police Federation representatives about emerging issues within police disciplinary proceedings. The training was kindly hosted by Louise Guest and Phil Stephenson from Durham Police Federation.
This training builds upon previous training and presentations that Steven has delivered to Police Federation representatives across England.
Steven was delighted to be joined by Mark Smith from DJMS solicitors, who provided his informed insights to the training.
Steven specialises in all aspects of police misconduct. Prior to coming to the Bar, Steven was a Police Superintendent. He regularly represents Police Officers and Police Authorities at Misconduct Hearings across England. His specialism in professional discipline has been recognised in the latest edition of The Legal 500:
"Steven has a no-nonsense approach and is quickly able to reassure clients. He is tenacious and his understanding of police conduct matters is second to none."
