On the evening of Thursday 14th March 2024, Property Litigation Association (PLA) North will be hosting a seminar delivered by members of Chambers, including head of Trinity's Business & Property Team, Simon Goldberg K.C..
The event will take place at the offices of Pinsent Masons Solicitors, One Park Row, Leeds, LS1 5AB.
Registration is from 5pm for a 5.30pm start. The seminar will finish at around 7pm and will be followed by networking drinks.
The event is free to attend for PLA members.
The speakers and topics are as follows:
- Simon Goldberg K.C. - Establishing ground (f) after Franses v Cavendish.
- Seth Kitson - Injunctions to demolish: the Local Authority’s enforcement options (and how to deal with them) under the Building Act 1984: North Northamptonshire Council v Michigan Construction Ltd.
- Abigail Cheetham - Jervis v Harris [1995] EWCA Civ 9 and a landlord’s repairing obligations.
