Head of Trinity Chambers, Toby Hedworth Q.C. has been instructed by the Public Prosecution Service to lead the prosecution team in the Trial of Robert Black at Armagh Crown Court, Northern Ireland.

Robert Black is accused of kidnapping and murdering nine year old Jennifer Cardy in Northern Ireland 30 years ago. In 1994 Robert Black was convicted at Newcastle Crown Court for the murders of Susan Maxwell, Caroline Hogg and Sarah Harper.

Toby Hedworth Q.C. is leading Donna McColgan in the current Crown Court proceedings expected to last approximately 6 weeks. Robert Black denies kidnap and murder.
