On the evening of Thursday 14 July 2022 the latest meeting of the Newcastle Business and Property Court Forum will take place as a hybrid event.
The session will be a focus on Professional Negligence. Specialist Business & Property Court Circuit Judge, His Honour Judge Kramer, will host the event asking the question, "Am I my brother's keeper?". Trinity Chambers' Simon Goldberg Q.C. addresses the topic "Bankers Take Care: Borrowers Beware".
This event is available to attend free of charge both face-to-face at Northumbria University Law School, City Campus East, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 8ST or remotely by Zoom. For those attending, refreshments will be available from 5pm. The talk will start at 5.30pm, concluding by 6.30pm.
The Newcastle Business & Property Court Forum was initiated by Trinity barristers in collaboration with members of the North East's legal community.
Simon Goldberg Q.C. is the first and only specialist commercial and employment silk based in the North East. Head of Trinity's Business and Property Team, Simon was called to the Bar in 1999. He became a Crime, Civil & Chancery Recorder in 2018 and was a member of the Attorney General’s Regional Panel of Counsel for over 10 years. His practice has been consistently recognised in both the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners directories.
