Trinity Professional Disciplinary and Misconduct barrister, Steven Reed, successfully defended PC Conlon at a Police Misconduct Hearing conducted over 14 & 15 March and then 16 & 17 June 2025 at Palestra House, Blackfriars Road in London.
PC Conlon faced allegations of making a series of discriminatory remarks while on-duty. Following successful applications for further disclosure, the Panel heard live evidence from witnesses over 2 days. At the conclusion of the evidence, the Panel took just over 2 hours to decide that all the allegations were not proved.
Having determined that none of the alleged misconduct was proved, the case against PC Conlon was dismissed.
