Joseph O’Brien K.C. and Trinity Children Law barrister, Tory Putnam, instructed by Lesley Monkhouse of David Gray Solicitors were successful in an application for the reopening of findings for a Mother who had previously been found to be in the pool of perpetrators for significant inflicted injuries, including fractures, to a non-mobile infant.
The Court was seised of a number of complex and contested applications made by the parents including recusal of the trial judge and application to reopen and set aside original findings made against a parent in light of new information.
Subsequent to the successful application for reopening, Gemma Taylor K.C. and Tory Putnam appeared on behalf of the Mother at the consequent fact find hearing. All findings were dismissed against the Mother resulting in reunification of the children to her primary care.
Trinity Chambers' Grace Moreton and Rebecca Suttle, also acted in the case. Grace Moreton, led by Elizabeth Issacs K.C., appeared for the Father in the application to reopen and Rebecca Suttle led by Charlotte Worsley K.C. appeared for the Father in the subsequent fact find hearing.
