Trinity Barrister, James Kemp, has had an article published in the September 2012 edition of Trading Standards today, the monthly magazine of the Trading Standards Institute

James’ article entitled “Mark of Success” examines the legal and enforcement implications of trade mark protection in the context of an anticipated influx of fake goods and merchandise following the London 2012 Olympic Games. The Trinity barrister is instructed by several local authorities in relation to trading standards matters and also deals with proceeds of crime applications relating to trading standards.

James is a member of Trinity Chambers BusinessChancery and Regulatory Practice Groups. James, who practises from Trinity’s Chambers in Newcastle and Middlesbrough, has also recently been appointed to the panel of Specialist Regulatory Advocates in Health and Safety and Environmental Law.
