Trinity Family and Matrimonial Finance barrister, Kossar Kitching was a finalist in the Inspiring Professionals category of the inaugural Northern Asian Powerlist 2020.

The List showcases the most influential people of Asian heritage across the Northern Powerhouse and includes prominent businesses, professionals, influencers, women, media, politicians and those working in the third sector. The official launch of the Northern Asian Powerlist was hosted at the House of Lords by the Rt. Hon. Baroness Warsi of Dewsbury.

Kossar was included in the Inspiring Professionals category that shines a light on Northern Powerhouse role models in the workplace inspiring the next generation of professional talent. The overall winner of the category was Syima Aslam, Managing Director and Artistic Director of Bradford Literature Festival North East. Joining Kossar in this category as finalists were Anu Kaura, Head of Legal and Group In-house Lawyer at Malhotra Group PLC and Ben Banerjee DL, Vascular Surgeon at Sunderland Hospital.

Last year Kossar won the Professionals Category at the Asian Business Connexions Awards.
